Services for Howard W. Jones will be held at 11:00 Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at Price - McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton, with Pastor Mike Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Wolfcreek Cemetery with Military Graveside rites by Amvets Post 1994.  Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 Monday, March 13, 2017.
He died at 9:15 am Wednesday, March 08, 2017 at Sunrise of Findlay. He was born on September 21, 1925 in Hardin County to the late Raymond and Marie (Guider) Jones.
On July 25, 1948 he married L. Jane Rogers and she preceded him in death on October 05, 2015.
Surviving are 2 daughters, Judy (Dennis) Roettager of Port Clinton; and Janet Jones of Kenton; 1 son, Paul (Patty) Jones of Strongsville; 6 grandchildren, Renee; Rochelle; Eric (Jill); Angie (Jon); Neal; and Serenity; 8 great grandchildren; and a great great grandson.
He was preceded in death by a brother Herbert Jones.
He was a purchasing agent for Wilco.
Howard was a life member of the Mt. Victory United Methodist Church and for the last 4 years has been attending the Salem Cast United Methodist Church in Findlay. 
He was a 60 year Mason, a member of Hardin County Farm Bureau and the former Mt. Victory Lions Club.
He enjoyed gardening of all varieties. He had a green thumb and took entries to local fairs where he won multiple ribbons. Howard loved to fish and camp. He also was an avid Ohio State Buckeye and Cincinnati Reds fan.
