Funeral services for Geneva Strahm will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, January 15, 2018 at The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Mt. Victory with Pastor Jason Manns officiating. Burial will follow at Hale Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to services.
She died at 8:55 A.M. on Tuesday, January 9th, 2018 at the Hardin Hills Health Center in Kenton. She was born on March 27, 1927 in Jasper County, Indiana to the late Walter and Myrtle (Marshall) Collingsworth. On October 3, 1946 she married Robert P. Strahm and he preceded her in death on January 17, 1973.
Surviving are a son; Robert F. (Susan) Strahm of Benson, Arizona, 3 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, a daughter-in-law; Carol Strahm of Celina, a sister-in-law; Doris Collingsworth, and several nieces.
She was preceded in death by a daughter; Carolyn S. Gosink, a son; William D. Strahm, sisters; Waneta Jobes, Mavis Hastings, and her brothers; Donald Coffel, and Edward, Heywood, Lacey, Dallas and Chester Collingsworth.
Geneva was a homemaker.
She was a member and past president of the Ladies Auxiliary of William Britton Post in Mt. Victory and a past member of the Mt. Victory Church of Christ.
Memorial donations may be made to the Hardin Hills Activity Fund.
