Funeral services for Franklin Binau will be held on Friday, April 22, 2016 at 12:00 P.M. at the Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton. Burial will follow at Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Thursday, April 21st.
He died at 2:05 A.M., Monday, April 18, 2016 at his residence. He was born June 25, 1940 in Findlay to the late Myron and Ella (Buess) Binau. On March 5, 1961 he married Betsy Ann Reid, and she preceded him in death on April 11, 2016.
He is survived by 3 daughters; Lori (Ray) Clark of Kenton, Lisa Eibling of Kenton, Lucinda (Greg) Wireman of Kenton, 1 son; John (Tracy) Binau of Kenton, 1 sister; Marjorie Altman of Findlay, 6 grandchildren; Brent Phipps, Kurtis Wireman, Joshua Binau, Kyle Wireman, Rebecca Binau, Erin Struble, 5 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by 2 brothers; Myron James Binau Jr, Dale Binau, and a granddaughter; Wendy Phipps.
Frank was a graduate of Riverdale High School and a member of the Kenton Moose and Eagles. He worked at Rockwell, and Meritor for over 30 years. Frank enjoyed playing pool, working in his yard and having family cookouts. He had a passion for vehicles especially his truck and making model cars.
