of Kenton
Graveside services for Ernest L. "Ernie" Clements will be held at 11:00 Saturday, March 24, 2018 in the Committal Building at Grove Cemetery. Pastor Cynthia Morrison will be officiating.
He died at 5:57 pm on Wednesday, March 07, 2018 at St. Rita's Medical Center. He was born on June 06, 1935 in Hardin County to the late Francis and Della (Schoffner) Clements. On March 18, 1955 he married Eileen Thiel and she survives in Kenton.
Also surviving are 3 sons, Steve L. (Joyce Seiler) Clements of Kenton, Doug W. (Vickie) Clements of Kenton, and Randy D. (Cindy) Clements of Kenton; 10 grandchildren, April (John) Stalling, Tiffany Clements, Joshua (Autumn) Clements, Shaley Clements, Randi Jo Clements, Devin Stalling, Nicole Davie, Heath Shenefield, Tyler (Danielle) Sparks, and Trevor (Ashley) Sparks; 4 great grandchildren, Brooke Richardson, Lauren Oglesbee, Noah Shultz and Cameron Sparks; and 1 brother, Edward Clements of Kenton.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Cheryl Clements and 3 sisters, Mary McElfresh, Irene Linke, and Janet Linke.
Ernie was a farmer who loved the outdoors especially fishing, frog gigging, and camping.
Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is handling arrangements.
