Funeral Services for Dorothy M. Wilson will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, February 17, 2017 At The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton with Pastor Tom Gossell officiating. Burial will follow at Dola Cemetery. Friends may call 2 hours prior to services.
She died at 1:15 P.M. Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at The Hardin Hill Health Center in Kenton. She was born November 26, 1918 in Dola to the late Henry and Clara (Hoffman) Croy. On October 6, 1940 she married H. Rex Wilson and he preceded her in death on January 17, 1998.
Surviving are 2 sons; Thomas (Julie) Wilson of Dola, David (Katie) Wilson of Pauline, S.C., 4 grandchildren; Brad (Amy) Wilson of Hilliard, Anjie (Alvin) Trusty of Findlay, Kyle David (Lorena) Wilson of Lancaster, Christopher Michael Wilson of Greenville, S.C., 13 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death y 2 brothers; Charles Croi, Glenn Croi, and a sister; Ruth Obenour.
Dorothy was a 1936 graduate of Dola High School and a member of the Dola Presbyterian Church.
She was a homemaker, but also helped her husband run their accounting and tax business.
Dorothy was an avid bowler, being a National Champion in the Senior Women's division and a life member of the Ohio Women's Bowling Association.
She enjoyed traveling, and spending time with her family. Especially her grandchildren.
