Services for Dorothy Longbrake will be at 11:00 Wednesday, July 06, 2016 at Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton, with Pastor Gregg King officiating.
Burial will follow at Dunkirk Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 Tuesday, July 05, 2016.
She died at 8:40 pm Saturday, July 02, 2016 at her daughter's residence. She was born on November 18, 1929 in Hardin County to the late Charles and Earmil (Comstock) Modd. On May 07, 1949 she married G. Robert "Bob" Longbrake and he preceded her in death on November 09, 1996.
Surviving are 4 daughters, Susan (Doug) Frederick of Forest, Bobbie (Jeff) Slack of Forest, Sharon (Bob) Walden of Duncan Falls, OH, and Peggy (Chuck) Downing of Lima; 12 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 1 sister Barbara (Gary) McQuown of Kenton; and 1 brother Harold (Libby) Modd of Kenton.
She was preceded in death by 2 brothers Walter (Anna Mae) Modd and Jim (Sandra) Modd.
Dorothy retired from Huntington National Bank where she was a loan officer.
She attended Bridgeport Church and was a member of the Kenton Women of the Moose and Kenton Elks Lodge.
Dorothy loved her family, and being at her home working on flowers, reading or sitting on her deck. She enjoyed her gambling trips with her daughters and friends.
