Services for Donna Mae Comstock will be held at 11:00 Thursday, February 02, 2017 at Price - McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton. Burial will follow at Norman Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 Wednesday, February 01, 2017.
She died at 6:30 pm Friday, January 27, 2017 at Kenton Nursing & Rehab. She was born on February 11, 1934 in Hardin County to the late George T. and Kathryn L. (Faurot) Zachariah. After her father was killed in WWII her mother married Calvin H. Lawrence, whom Donna loved and called Pop. On May 15, 1953 she married Richard Dean Comstock and he preceded her in death on April 07, 2016.
Surviving are her children, son, Daniel (Tammy Helton) Comstock of Kenton; daughters, Diane (Wesley) Freshcorn of Kenton; and Dana (Bryan) Fullerton of Huntsville; 7 grandchildren, Jared (Julie) Freshcorn of Kenton; Eric Freshcorn of Kenton; Andy (Ginger) Turner of Dublin; Kristi Comstock of Pickerington; Roman Lopez of Bellefontaine; Melissa Richardson of Kenton and Amanda (Jordan) Iiams of Rushsylvania; 8 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by 1 brother Ralph Zachariah, and 2 sisters Jane Cribbs and Sharon Kearns.
She was a homemaker and a 1952 graduate of Kenton Sr. High School.
Donna was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, McDonald Grange, Kenton Elks, and the Kenton Women of Moose.
She was a loving wife and mother and loved being with her grandchildren. She enjoyed being outdoors, her flowers, fishing, and taking pictures.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to donor's choice.
