Funeral services for Dewayne L. Fleece will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, December 20, 2016  at The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton with Pastor Dennis Burns officiating. Burial will follow in Roundhead Cemetery. Friends may call Monday, December 19, 2016 from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
He died at 5:35 P.M. Thursday, December 15, 2016 at his residence. He was born July 10, 1953 in Kenton to the late Charles William and Jean Evelyn (Danner) Fleece. On February 8, 1975, he married Cathy Hottman and she survives in Kenton.
Also surviving are a son; Craig (Jennifer) Fleece of Kenton, a brother; David (Susan) Fleece of Urbana, 3 grandchildren; Chase, Evelyn, Beatrice, and 2 nieces; Shellie (Bill) Crabtree of Kenton, and Jodi Fleece-Hoop of Westerville.
He was preceded in death by 2 infant siblings.
Dewayne was a 1971 Kenton High School graduate and was employed as  the Terminal Manager of the Simon Kenton and Harco Industries, bus drivers for over 20 years.
He enjoyed antique tractors, especially John Deere's, but his true passion were his grandchildren, who he loved dearly.
