Services for Dean Willis Berry will be held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton with Rev Phillip Compton officiating. Burial will be follow at Wolfcreek Cemetery with military graveside rites by Amvets Post 1994. Friends may call from 10:00 until time of services on Tuesday.
He died at 6:16 am Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Bridge Hospice in Findlay. He was born on January 17, 1929 in Kenton to the late Willis O. and Mabel C. (Marmon) Berry. In June of 1951 he married Ruth Anna Frater and she preceded him in death on February 05, 1974.
Surviving are 3 sons; Marion (Theresa) Berry of Findlay, Brice Berry of Findlay, and Gale (Deb) Berry of Findlay, 6 grandchildren; Amy (Kevin), Jill, Jessica (Eric), Chase, Cory, and Kirsten, 9 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; 1 brother; Eldon (Joan) Berry of West Mansfield, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by 3 sons; Walter D., Donald G., and Duane S. Berry, 2 brothers; Lowell and John Berry, and 3 sisters; Irma Fout, Wilma Lame, and Thelma Wilkerson.
Dean served 4 years in the United States Army and retired from Whirlpool Corporation .   
He was a 1947 graduate of Mt. Victory High School and a lifetime member of D.A.V. and the V.F.W.
He was an avid Buckeyes fan and gun collector, spending most of his time attending gun shows. He also loved to fish and hunt.
Dean will be remembered by his family as a man that never gave up.
