Funeral services for David Baldwin will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton with Pastor David Odegard officiating. Burial with military rites will follow at Grove Cemetery. Friends may call 2 hours prior to services.
He died at 12:05 A.M on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at his residence in Kenton. He was born on July 23, 1948 in Galion, Ohio to the late William Baldwin and the late Mabel (Sipes) Miller. On July 4, 1968 he married Ethel Gault and they later divorced. He then married Barbara Bloomfield on February 6, 1988 and she survives in Kenton.
Also surviving are 4 children; Candy (Curt) Castle of Kenton, David (Shanna) Baldwin of Forest, Ruth (Robert) Sayre of Kenton, Teresa (James) Baldwin of Kenton, 2 sisters; Ellen (Floyd) Penwell of Forest, Donna (Bob) Bender of Prospect, a brother; Jeff (Dawn) Miller of Richwood, 9 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by 2 brothers; Jim and Larry Baldwin, and a great-grandson; Ricky Gault Jr.
David served in the United States Army for 3 years and then the National Guard for almost 19 years.
He worked as a welder for Transco until his retirement.
David enjoyed Fishing, hunting, baseball, football and playing cards.
