A Celebration of life service for Dana G. Stump will be held at 4:00 Saturday, July, 02 2016 at the Bridgeport Church with Pastor Gregg King officiating.
Friends may call from 2:00 to 4:00 at the church on Saturday.
He died at 11:43 am Monday, June 27, 2016 at Hardin Memorial Hospital. He was born on July 20, 1954 in Kenton to the late Wilbur D. Stump and Martha (King) Stump and she survives in Dunkirk. On July 13, 1995 he married Jackie Young and she survives in Dunkirk.
Also surviving are 2 daughters, Stephanie (Greg) Kah of Ada and Kade Stump of Dunkirk; 1 son, Matthew (Janell) Stump of Waynesfield; 4 grandchildren, Garett Stump, Brendan Kah, Lexie Stump, and Brooklyn Kah; 2 brothers, Tom (Kathy) Stump of Jenera, and Craig (Yevette) Stump of Dola; and 1 sister, Jeanne (Darrell) Rush of Dunkirk.
He was the owner and operator of Stump's Transporting Company, LLC.
He was a member of the Bridgeport Church and a former Hardin County Horse Council President for 3 years.
Dana was an avid supporter of the International Barrel Racing Association and the best show "Dad" around. He was an outspoken right wing conservative.
The family request hats and boots formal attire not necessary.
Price-McElroy Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
