Funeral services for Charles "Chuck" Tainer will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, September 22, 2016 at The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton. Burial will follow at Preston Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
He died at 10:25 A.M. on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Lima Memorial Hospital. He was born October 9, 1945 in Pike County, Ohio to the late Charley Tainer and the late Elnora (Crum) Damron. On June 18, 1982 he married Rita Clemons and she survives in Kenton.
Also surviving are 3 daughters; Ronda (Scott) Wagner of MN, Ashley (Keith Harp) Tainer-Harp of Chillicothe, Amanda (Matthew Gansheimer) Tainer of Kenton, a son; Jeffrey Weiclaw of AZ, 2 sisters; Frances (John) Padgett of Franklin Furnace, OH, Rita Jean Ford of Waverly, 5 brothers; Leroy (Marcelle) Caplinger of Deshler, OH, Carl (Carol) Tainer of Kenton, Ed Falco of SC, Tommy of Missouri, Ed Fite of Peebles, OH, 4 grandchildren; Wyatt Wagner, Jesse Wagner, Morgan Harp, Katana Harp and numerous nieces and nephews.
Chuck was the owner of OK Auto Sales in Kenton since 1999. He enjoyed fishing, watching Nascar, watching Buckeye Football and playing with his boxer Dixie.
Memorial donations may be made to Kenton City Schools.
