A gathering of family and friends for Beverly A. White will be held on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton. Private family burial will take place at a later late at Grove Cemetery.
She died at 1:35 P.M. on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at The Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. She was born in Elko, New York on December 3, 1933 to the late Clarence and Elizabeth (Walsh) Zeigler. On June 24, 1954 she married Quentin R. White and he preceded her in death on February 26, 2009.
Surviving are 3 daughters; JoAnn Holland of Kenton, Tina (Brad) Syrock of Grove City, Candy (Rex) Lynch of Columbus, a son; Jeff White of Findlay, 7 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, 3 special nieces and 2 special nephews.
She was preceded in death by 5 sisters; Vinnie Mann, Elizabeth Hribar, Martha Smith, Julia Lee, Alice Joy Zeigler, 4 brothers; Howard Zeigler, Robert Zeigler, Tenny Zeigler, and Elmer Zeigler.
Beverly was a member of the Painter Creek Grange, and the First United Methodist Church in Kenton where she taught Sunday School.
She was also a member of the Ohio Poetry Day Association, the Poetry Day in Marion Association and the Lady's Book Club in Kenton, because she was very passionate about reading and writing poetry.
Beverly also enjoyed photography, knitting hats, and had a deep love for animals.
