A celebration of life for Betty L. Scott will be held from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Monday, January 9, 2017 at The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton.
She died at 3:45 A.M. Thursday, January 5, 2017 at Kenton Nursing and Rehab. She was born on November 3, 1947 in Carey, Ohio to Hazel (Montgomery) Wages and the late Wilson Wages. She married Neal Duffman Sr., and they later divorced. She then married Leo Scott and they also later divorced.
Surviving are 2 daughters; Karen (Hal) Johnson of Louisiana, Patricia (Bill) Biederman of Indiana, 2 sons; Neal (Jalene) Duffman Jr of Kenton, Daniel (Natalie) Scott of Lima, 2 sisters; Patty Whitaker of Kenton, Connie Cannode of Kentonm,2 brothers; Ronnie (Deanna) Wages of Ada, Wilson Wages Jr. of Kenton, 9 grandchildren; Meghan Moore, Zac Moore, Justine Biederman, Joshua Biederman, Cody Johnson, Cade Biederman, Hunter Scott, Colten Scott, Weston Scott, 8 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a grandson; Neal Duffman III, and 4 brothers; Donald Lee Wages, Kyile Wages, Eugene Wages and Bobby Wages.
Betty was a homemaker and a Kenton High School Graduate.
She enjoyed watching her grandchildren in their various sporting events and going and playing Bingo. When she couldn't get out to play, she would play Bingo Blitz on her Ipad.
